This Is The Version I Believe That I Saw Him Play Live at A Concert.
I Don’t Know If He Always Plays It This Way Or Not,
But This Version Seemed More Mellow And Subdued In That John Mayer Way.
I Pluck The 2nd, 3rd, 4th And 6th Strings In Unison For The “D” And “Gsus2”
And 2nd, 3rd, And 5th For The “A”. As I Listened To Him I Noticed He Threw
In Some Hammer-ons In Certain Places And When He Did, He Would Pick The Rest Of The Chord.
I Usually Add The “Asus2” As A Hammer-On. Once I Got Comfortable With The Chord Changes,
I Threw In A Little Rhythmic String Mute Between The “D” And “Asus2”
And Some More Hammer-one With Picking On The 1st String Of The “D”,
The 3rd String Of The “Gsus2”...play Around With It And You Will See How Versatile
It Is For Inflection Or Intensity Of The Song As It Progresses.

As You Feel More Comfortable With The Song.
