The Intro is played on just the bottom 4 strings and D is the main anchor chord it starts with an A chord

then you slide your pinky finger up to the 5th fret (relative to capo)...then

hammer on 2nd fret g and e strings then to D then slide your pinky finger to the 7th fret then to

hammer on then off 2nd fret g and e then it finishes with a small walk down(D,Dsus2,Em, Cadd9),G

then into the first verse, this intro is also played at the first interlude but starts

on a Dsus4 and finishes on the slide up to

7th fret, the outro is also the same, it's hard to explain here
