RAINBOW CONNECTION - 5-string banjo
Note: this isn't the original Muppets arrangement. The original version is played
on a 4-sting banjo, which is tuned differently than a 5-string. This version is
easier to play on a 5-string and is tabbed from an arrangement I found here:

Verse 1:
Why are there
so many
songs about
rainbows,
and what's on the
other
side?
Rainbows are
visions, but
only il
lusions.
Rainbows have no
thing to
hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they're wrong wait and see.
Chorus:
Some day we'll
find it, the
rainbow con
nection,
The lovers, the
dreamers,
and
me.
Verse 2:
Who said that
every wish will
be heard and
answered
and wished on a
morning
star?
Somebody
thought of that and
someone be
lieved him.
Look what it's
done so
far.
What's so amazing and keeps us stargazing?
What do we think we might see?
Chorus:
Some day we'll
find it, the
rainbow con
nection,
The lovers, the
dreamers,
and
me.
Bridge:
All of us
under its
spell,
We know that it's
probably
magic
............
Verse 3- Key Change:
Have you been
half asleep and
have you heard
voices?
I've heard them
calling my
name.
Are these the
sweet sounds that
called the young
sailors?
I think that they're
one and the
same.
I've heard it too many times to ignore it.
It's something that I'm supposed to be.
Chorus:
Someday we'll
find it the
rainbow con
nection,
the lovers, the
dreamers
and
me.
